Can I take only one class?
Yes. Eligible courses and Skills Labs can be purchased individually. The complete professional program is priced as a bundled pathway and is less expensive than purchasing every module separately.
Do classes have prerequisites?
Some do. The prerequisite is displayed before registration. ADMFA checks eligibility before accepting registration or payment for an advanced class.
What if I already have AV experience?
Experienced technicians may request a placement/prerequisite review. Approval can waive a prerequisite for a target course without creating a fake grade or academic credit.
How does the full program work?
Applications are accepted year-round. Students choose an approved monthly rolling start, complete the advanced-skill inventory and admissions/onboarding requirements, then progress through instructor-gated asynchronous coursework, practical assessments, Monday labs where required, and practicum.
When are live classes held?
Most coursework is online. Courses with required physical competencies include mandatory Monday hands-on labs with limited seating. Students choose an available 12:00 PM or 6:00 PM lab section when offered. Some courses are fully online with assigned lessons, submissions, instructor feedback and grading.
How are students graded?
ADMFA uses written and practical assessments with an 80% minimum passing standard and a weighted 4.0-style internal GPA. Required practical competencies must also be passed.
Is this an accredited college degree?
No. ADMFA AV School training is independent professional education and does not represent an accredited college degree or outside certification unless specifically stated.
Do I need my own equipment?
Requirements vary by course. Hands-on classes identify any personal equipment requirements before enrollment; ADMFA training equipment may be used during scheduled labs.
Can churches, schools or companies request training?
Yes. ADMFA can review private or group training requests and build an appropriate schedule based on the requested skills and available instructors.
